by posted 01/23/2012

CC United offers Futsal League and Individual Training. Futsal is played in a gym with a zero bounce ball.  Futsal is an excellent starting point for younger players and a great addition to the serious soccer player's training. The main areas of development we work on will be:
  • Comfort on the ball
  • Changing directions in possession
  • Ball manipulation to create space
  • Ball manipulation to beat players
  • 1st touch to receive

Soccer USA - Out of Business
by posted 01/19/2012

We regret to report that Soccer USA has closed its doors.  Soccer USA was CC United’s supplier for uniforms and Adidas Apparel.  We wanted to explain what we know about the situation, how it affects all of us and what steps you can take.

Q:           What is the status of orders through Soccer USA that have not yet been filled?

A:           We do not expect any open orders to be filled by Soccer USA.  The company has closed its doors permanently.

If you have placed an order and paid with a check payable to Soccer USA, call your bank to find out whether your check has been cashed.  If your check has been cashed but you have not received your order, please notify me at .  I cannot promise that we can reach a positive resolution, but we will see what we can do.  If your check has not been cashed, see if you can issue a stop payment on your check.

If you ordered uniforms and apparel through the club website using a credit card, your purchase will be filled through our independent representative, who formerly handled team sales at Soccer USA.

Q.            What is CC United’s plan for uniforms for this coming season?

A.            We are coming to the end of this uniform cycle, so we were already researching options for the 2012/13 season.  With the start of the season just over three months away, our best option is to continue using the same uniform manufacturer.  The manufacturer is not affected by the closing of Soccer USA.  Our team sales contact at Soccer USA will continue to provide CC United uniforms as an independent representative for the manufacturer.

We will reopen the uniform ordering page on the CC United website soon, so watch for a follow up message.

Q.           What is the plan for warm-ups, backpacks and other Adidas apparel?

A.            We are researching other suppliers that can provide the CC United-logo Adidas apparel.  We will send an update when a new supplier is selected.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me at .  Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we get our kids geared for the upcoming season.

Action requested: 5 year Club vision
by posted 01/08/2012

In January 2012, CC United Soccer Club will take its first steps to develop a 5-year vision.  A group of parents and club leaders will create a vision that will answer questions like:

- What should the club stand for?
- What should be the experience for players, parents, volunteers and sponsors?
- What should our program offer?
- How should the club be operated and funded?
- What should our facilities and playing fields be like?
- What should we stop, start or continue doing?

You are invited to participate in an all-club survey that will give the visioning team your ideas on what is best about our club, where we can get even better and what our best aspirations can be in the future.

Who is the visioning team, by the way?  It is made up of parents like you who are interested in participating in a high-energy, positive visioning process for the future of the club.  We will select a cross section of the club, representing all age groups and playing levels.  If you are interested in being part of the process, please check the appropriate box near the end of the survey.

Again, thank you for your input and support of CC United Soccer Club
