Due to poor field conditions all CC United grass fields are closed and events on these fields have been cancelled.  This includes all competitive and rec events on CC United FIelds.

Your team coach or manager may try to locate indoor training space for practices or make alternative arrangements for games.

Managers, if you have a home game scheduled for this evening, please notify your opposition of the cancellation.

I know we are all frustrated with the frequent April and May cancellations.  It is important to remember that the fields used by CC United are community resources that are offered to CC United by the cities, in most cases without charge.  We have a responsibility to try to protect the quality of the fields we play on.  Several fields are already in poor condition due to a very rough start of the year and continuing to use the fields in the condition they are currently in would likely result in the fields needing to be repaired.  Repairing the fields would costs a significant amount of money for the city and would likely result in the field being unavailable to us for an extended period of time while the field recovered.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.  We fully understand how difficult it is to reschedule games and the impact of cancellations.  The decision to close fields is not taken lightly and fields are only closed when absolutely necessary.
